Arunava Mondal

Arunava Mondal, born in 1980 in Kolkata, is an acclaimed artist known for his emotive abstract landscapes that explore the depths of nature and human experience. He completed his Bachelor of Visual Arts at Rabindra Bharati University in 2005 and a Master of Fine Arts at Kala Bhavana, Visva Bharati University, in 2007. His work has been featured internationally, with exhibitions like “Art of Storytelling” at Galeria Geppart, Poland (2024), and “Amazons and Titans” in Turkey (2019). Prestigious galleries such as Tamarind Art Gallery in New York and Kunst Markt in Dresden, Germany, have showcased his art, as have his solo exhibitions, including “Transcending Memories” at The Harrington Street Arts Centre, Kolkata (2023). His work is part of collections in India, Germany, Poland, Italy, and the U.S., celebrated for its rich color and texture that capture the essence of abstract expression.
