After completing his B.F.A. in printmaking from the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Dhaka, Anisuzzaman pursued his M.F.A. in printmaking from Rabindra Bharati University, Kokata, India. In 2006, he got an invitation from Tama Art university, Tokyo where he researched on Woodblock Print under the guidance of Professor Keisei Kobayashi. In 2008, he again completed his MFA from Tama Art University in Tokyo. In his chequered career, Anisuzzaman has held several solo and group exhibitions at home and abroad. He has received many prestigious awards, including Asian Art Biennale Grant Award, Guanlan International Print Prize, Bangkok International Triennale Prize, Bharat Bhavan Honorable Mention Award, Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy Honorable Mention Award and others. He is currently Professor of Printmaking Department, Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Dhaka.
