Rashid, born on 13 December 1987 in Allahabad, India, is a visual artist based in New Delhi. He holds an M.F.A. in Painting from the College of Art, University of Delhi, and has taught as an Assistant Professor at Lingya’s Lalita Devi Institute of Management & Sciences. His work has been recognized with several awards, including the Best Landscape Award at the University of Allahabad (2008) and the Vimal Arts Scholarship (2018-19). He has participated in national and international art camps and exhibitions, including the SAARC Artist Camp (Maldives), Lalit Kala Academy shows, and the India Art Festival. His contributions to contemporary Indian art have gained him wide recognition across the art community.
